National Science Day was celebrated in a grand manner as a vibrant confluence of scientific knowledge and innovation at the Seminar Hall of Gayatri Vidya Parishad Degree and PG College (Autonomous), MVP Colony.   On 28 February 2026 at 3:00 PM, the two-day National Mathematics Lecture Workshop organized under the Science Academies Education Programme concluded successfully at St. Joseph’s College. The workshop was specially organized for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) students. Students had the valuable opportunity to interact with eminent professors from prestigious institutions across the country and engage in meaningful academic discussions. Prof. K. Srinivas, who attended as the Chief Guest, encouraged students to pursue higher education and research. Dr. Sister Shyji presided over the valedictory session and appreciated the efforts of the department faculty. The workshop summary was presented by Prof. Gadadhar Mishra. The Convenor, Dr. Capt. K. नियोनेटोलॉजिस्ट डॉ. साई सुनील किशोर ने कहा। प्रेग्नेंसी के 29 हफ़्ते में पैदा हुए प्रीमैच्योर बच्चे में कम्प्लीट जेनेटिक हार्ट ब्लॉक का डायग्नोसिस हुआ। यह एक रेयर कंडीशन है जिसमें हार्टबीट को कंट्रोल करने वाले इलेक्ट्रिकल सिग्नल गर्भ में बुरी तरह से डिस्टर्ब हो जाते हैं। यह प्रॉब्लम माँ की ऑटोइम्यून डिज़ीज़ सिस्टमिक ल्यूपस एरिथेमेटोसस (SLE) से जुड़ी है। इस कंडीशन में हार्ट फेलियर, हाइड्रोप्स और अचानक कार्डियक अरेस्ट का रिस्क होता है। बच्चा LSCS के ज़रिए प्रीमैच्योर पैदा हुआ था और उसे तुरंत NICU में शिफ्ट कर दिया गया था। प्रेग्नेंसी/जन्म के बाद कॉम्प्रिहेंसिव कार्डियक टेस्ट के ज़रिए डायग्नोसिस किया गया था। जन्म के बाद ब्रैडीकार्डिया (हार्ट रेट कम होना) शुरू होने के बाद बच्चे को लगातार मॉनिटरिंग में NICU में रखा गया था। बच्चे को आइसोप्रेनालिन और दूसरी दवाओं की मदद से स्टेबल किया गया था। समय से पहले जन्म, सांस लेने में दिक्कत और गंभीर हार्ट फेलियर जैसी कई मुश्किलों को अच्छे से मैनेज किया गया। बच्चा 14 दिनों तक वेंटिलेटर सपोर्ट पर रहा और फिर एक हफ़्ते तक ऑक्सीजन सपोर्ट मिला। 24 घंटे तक ल...

The Science Academies Education Programme Lecture Workshop was organized jointly by the Departments of Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, and IQAC exclusively for UG and PG students.
