विशाखापत्तनम, 3 फरवरी: समाज की तरक्की में पत्रकारों का रोल बहुत अहम है, इसलिए उनकी दिक्कतों को हल करना केंद्र और राज्य सरकारों की ज़िम्मेदारी है, ऐसा नेशनल एसोसिएशन ऑफ़ जर्नलिस्ट्स (NAJ) के सेक्रेटरी, आंध्र प्रदेश वर्किंग जर्नलिस्ट्स फेडरेशन के स्टेट लीडर्स गंतला श्रीनू बाबू, विशाखापत्तनम डिस्ट्रिक्ट प्रेसिडेंट पी नारायण ने कहा। वर्किंग जर्नलिस्ट्स (फेडरेशन) के मेंबरशिप रजिस्ट्रेशन के दौरान मंगलवार को विशाखापत्तनम डिस्ट्रिक्ट कलेक्टर ऑफिस के कैंपस में AP NGO होम में हुई मीटिंग में बोलते हुए, उन्होंने कहा कि पत्रकारों से जुड़े कई मसले केंद्र और राज्य सरकारों के पास लंबे समय से पेंडिंग हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि अगर इन सभी को समय पर हल करना है तो एक मीडिया कमीशन बनाया जाना चाहिए। उन्होंने कहा कि फेडरेशन द्वारा चलाए जा रहे मेंबरशिप रजिस्ट्रेशन प्रोग्राम को बहुत अच्छा रिस्पॉन्स मिल रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि पिछले महीने की 28 तारीख से शुरू हुए मेंबरशिप रजिस्ट्रेशन के बारे में मंगलवार तक 300 से ज़्यादा पत्रकारों ने अपनी मेंबरशिप रिन्यूअल पूरी कर ली है। उन्होंने कहा कि मेंबरशिप रजिस्ट्रेशन प्रोग्राम ...

हरि शंकर वर्मा, 1987 बैच के IRTS ऑफिसर, ने रेलवे बोर्ड में मेंबर (ऑपरेशंस और बिजनेस डेवलपमेंट) और भारत सरकार के एक्स-ऑफिशियो सेक्रेटरी का पदभार संभाल लिया है। इससे पहले, वह रेलवे बोर्ड में डायरेक्टर जनरल, सेफ्टी थे।

*माननीय रेल मंत्री की प्रेस मीट का संक्षिप्त विवरण - भारतीय रेलवे*
