62 Telugu Nationals Stranded in Nepal Safely Return; Warm Reception at Visakhapatnam Airport by TDP State President Palla Srinivasa Rao*

Visakhapatnam, September 11:*Sixty-two Telugu-speaking nationals who had been stranded in Nepal arrived safely in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday, following swift intervention by Andhra Pradesh Education and IT Minister Nara Lokesh.State Telugu Desam Party president and Gajuwaka legislator, Palla Srinivasa Rao with MP M.Sri Bharath & other MLA's personally received the group at the airport, extending a warm and reassuring welcome.Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Srinivasa Rao lauded the prompt response of Mr. Lokesh, attributing the success of the rescue operation to his timely efforts. “Mr. Lokesh has consistently demonstrated that leadership is not confined to position, but to responsibility. Whenever Telugu people face adversity anywhere in the world, he steps forward as though it is his personal duty. The safe return of these 62 citizens is a testament to his commitment,” he observed.
To ensure a seamless transition, transport facilities were arranged for all returnees—cars and cabs for those residing in and around Visakhapatnam, and connecting flights for those bound for distant destinations. Officials took particular care to see that none faced inconvenience after their ordeal.
Describing the episode as symbolic of the coalition government’s ethos, Mr. Srinivasa Rao remarked, “This incident reaffirms the conviction that wherever Telugu people may be in distress, they can count on the unwavering support of this government.”
