On the occasion of the 375th Anniversary of the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph, the Sisters of St. Joseph of Annecy, Visakhapatnam Province, organized a Seed Ball Making Event with the aim of setting a world record. The program was conducted on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.ЁЯМ▒ A total of 16 St. Joseph institutions across the country participated, preparing 11,19,000 seed balls. World Record officials monitored the activity live through online platforms and commended the initiative as a remarkable step towards environmental protection, reforestation, and a sustainable future.

This initiative was not just about planting trees but about sowing “Seeds of Hope for a Better Future”, symbolizing the mission of the Sisters in protecting nature and inspiring communities. It also emphasized that our words, deeds, and efforts today shape the world of tomorrow.Vice Principal Dr. Sr. Hema was the chief coordinator of the Seed Ball Making initiative. Teachers and students participated enthusiastically, dedicating their efforts to inspire society towards environmental conservation, said PRO Dr. P.K. Jayalakshmi. World Record official Dr. Sharifa Haneef appreciated the collective efforts of all participants.The event was successfully organized under the leadership of Principal Dr. Sr. Shyji, Vice Principal Dr. Sr. Hema, Provincial Superior Sr. Rose, and Office Sisters – Sr. Mary, Sr. Nancy, and Sr. Daisy.
