GITAM President and Member of Parliament, Shri Muthukumilli Sri Bharat, attended a special programme held at the premises of St. Joseph’s College as the Chief GuestAddressing the students, he emphasized that today’s youth must channel their talent and energy in the right direction and put knowledge into practice in ways that benefit society. He remarked that education should not be limited to securing jobs but should also contribute to personality development and social change.MP Sri Bharat advised students to focus on self-employment opportunities. Instead of merely aspiring to work under someone, one should strive to create employment for others. He urged the students to move forward in life with higher goals.On this occasion, he interacted briefly with the students and faculty. The programme was attended by College Principal Sr. Shyji, faculty members Dr. Sr. Hema, PRO Dr. P.K. Jayalakshmi, Dr. Sony, , Dr. Sujatha, and Dr. Sudha. Faculty and students of the college participated enthusiastically, making the event a grand success.
