Swast Nari Shakti Parivar Abhiyan to be held at VIMS from tomorrow -Free medical tests for women

Visakhapatnam: The Swast Nari Shakti Parivar Abhiyan program will be held at the Visakha Institute of Medical Sciences for 15 days from Wednesday, said Director Dr. K Rambabu. To this end, a help desk related to the program was inaugurated on Monday. Speaking on the occasion, he said that on the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, this program will be held at VIMS Hospital from 17th of this month to October 2nd. As part of this program, women will be provided with free medical tests and treatment for cancer-related diseases, sugar, BP, ENT, eyes, lungs, and women suffering from problems like overweight. He said that awareness on organ donation, blood donation camps, and free vaccinations will be organized. He said that blood tests, X-rays, and ultrasound scanning will be conducted free of cost for women in need. He urged women to utilize this opportunity. Deputy Director Srinivas Kumar, RMO Dr. Sirisha, doctors and staff participated in this program.
