Excelsior Celebrations at St. Joseph’s College on 24th & 25th October

Visakhapatnam: St. Joseph’s College for Women (A), Visakhapatnam, will host a two-day youth festival “Excelsior–2025” on October 24 and 25, aimed at enhancing students’ creativity, leadership, and communication skills, informed College Principal Dr. Sr. Shyji P. D.

On Thursday morning, the Excelsior–2025 banner was released with great enthusiasm and celebration on the college campus.

The Principal stated that this event has been a part of the college’s annual student celebrations since 2016, providing a platform to showcase talent and to extend support to economically weaker students.

The Convener of the programme is Dr. Sudha, while the Coordinators include Dr. P. K. Jayalakshmi, Dr. Sujatha, Dr. Sony, Dr. Praveen, Dr. D. Koteswara Rao, Sr. Dipali, Urmila, and Pratyusha.

Students from various colleges will participate and display their skills in projects, memory games, treasure hunts, models, photography, poster presentations, dances, songs, skits, quizzes, mime, and other cultural performances.Nearly 4,000 students are expected to take part in the grand celebrations, said Press In-charge Dr. P. K. Jayalakshmi.

The valedictory ceremony of Excelsior–2025 will be held on the evening of October 25 at 4 p.m., the Principal added.
