Kurnool, October 15:*All arrangements for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public meeting in Kurnool have been completed, said Telugu Desam Party (TDP) State President and Gajuwaka MLA, Mr. Palla Srinivasa Rao.
Accompanied by Irrigation Minister Nimmala Ramanaidu, Fisheries Minister K. Achennaidu, and BC Welfare Minister, Mr. Rao reviewed the preparations at the Mayuri Green Hills grounds on Tuesday. He inspected the stage, parking zones, security measures, drinking water facilities, medical camps, and traffic management systems.
Mr. Rao stated that every department was working in coordination to ensure smooth arrangements and a hassle-free experience for the public. “Tomorrow’s meeting will stand as a milestone in Kurnool’s political history,” he said.*Google AI Hub: A New Dawn for Andhra Pradesh’s Digital Future*
Andhra Pradesh is poised to witness a major digital transformation with Google Cloud announcing plans to establish an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Hub with an investment of ₹1.33 lakh crore, Mr. Palla Srinivasa Rao revealed. “This project will be a game changer for the State’s technological and economic landscape,” he said.
The initiative is expected to create employment for nearly two lakh youth and provide opportunities for thousands of startups. Mr. Rao credited the achievement to Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s far-sighted vision and IT Minister Nara Lokesh’s relentless efforts.
He recalled that Mr. Lokesh had visited Google’s headquarters in the United States last year and presented Andhra Pradesh’s strengths and the potential of Visakhapatnam, paving the way for this historic partnership.

Recalling the Chief Minister’s track record, Mr. Rao noted that Mr. Chandrababu Naidu had earlier ushered in the IT revolution by developing Hyderabad’s HITEC City. “The same visionary who brought Microsoft to Hyderabad is now bringing Google to Visakhapatnam, positioning Andhra Pradesh as India’s next technology capital,” he said.
*Kurnool to Emerge as a New Drone Hub*
Mr. Rao said the State government was taking significant strides toward innovation and emerging technologies. “Kurnool holds immense potential in drone manufacturing, training, and service sectors,” he observed.
The government is expanding the use of drone technology across defence, agriculture, industrial, and survey domains, he said, adding that this initiative would not only generate local employment but also position Kurnool as a centre for technological innovation.

Highlighting the State’s focus on technology-driven governance, Mr. Rao said that digital connectivity, data centres, artificial intelligence, and real-time analytics were becoming the cornerstones of the new economy

Key among them are the Kurnool-3 Pooling Station Transmission System worth ₹2,880 crore, industrial corridors amounting to ₹4,920 crore, and major road and railway expansion projects. These initiatives will significantly strengthen the State’s infrastructure, boost industrial growth, and generate large-scale employment.
“With the Prime Minister’s visit, a new chapter in Andhra Pradesh’s development is set to begin,” Mr. Palla Srinivasa Rao affirmed.
