Kurnool, October 12:*Telugu Desam Party (TDP) State President and MLA from Gajuwaka, Shri Palla Srinivasa Rao, on Saturday personally reviewed the arrangements for the upcoming “GST Reforms Maha Sabha” scheduled to be held in Kurnool district.The mega event, slated for October 16, will be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and is being organised with great significance by the Andhra Pradesh Government. The State administration, which had earlier moved a resolution in the Assembly commending the GST 2.0 reforms, is leaving no stone unturned to make the event a historic people’s gathering, symbolising Andhra Pradesh’s proactive endorsement of the Centre’s fiscal reforms.On-site Inspection and Directions to Officials*During his visit to the Mayuri Green Hills grounds, the venue for the meeting, Mr. Srinivasa Rao inspected the stage, public enclosures, and amenities being arranged for the event. He directed officials to ensure that every aspect—from traffic regulation, parking, and drinking water facilities to emergency medical assistance—is planned with precision so that the public faces no inconvenienceHe urged the coordination committees and local authorities to work in close synchrony and take ownership of their respective responsibilities. Emphasising smooth public movement, he instructed the officials to prepare clear traffic and crowd management guidelines to maintain order during the Prime Minister’s visit.

Speaking to the media later, Mr. Srinivasa Rao said that the GST 2.0 reforms have ushered in a new chapter in India’s economic transformation. “This Maha Sabha is being organised in Kurnool as a mark of gratitude and appreciation to Prime Minister Modi for spearheading these visionary reforms,” he said.He observed that under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the dynamic governance of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Kurnool is on course to evolve into one of the country’s leading drone technology hubs. “The reform-driven agenda of the coalition government will infuse renewed energy into the State’s growth trajectory,” he remarked
