The Department of Chemistry, St. Joseph’s College, successfully hosted the intercollegiate fest CHEMGEN 2K25 on 28th November 2025, creating a vibrant platform for innovation, learning, and scientific exploration.Dr. Sr.Shyji , Principal St.Joseph's College for Women(A) inaugurated the event ,and spoke that this type of events create interest and motivate students in the field of chemistry, these fests bring the innovative ideas of the students and increase the interest in research.The event was graced by distinguished guests —

Around 200 students from different colleges from Visakhapatnam participated with great enthusiasm, transforming the campus into a hub of creativity and intellectual energy.The fest featured dynamic events such as Chemtalks, ChemQuiz, CheMystery, Grid Quest, Bond Builder Challenge, Emerging Chemist Award, Waste to Wealth Expo, and ChemRush — each designed to spark innovation and strengthen scientific thinking.With dedicated efforts from faculty and volunteers, CHEMGEN 2K25 emerged as a meaningful and inspiring celebration of education, collaboration, and the spirit of chemistry. A day where knowledge met creativity… and young chemists stepped into their future with confidence.
