Alumni Association (SJCWAA) of St. Joseph’s College for Women, Visakhapatnam, organised two enriching workshops on Entrepreneurship and Innovation Skills at the Ratan Tata Incubation Hub, VMRDA, Visakhapatnam, aimed at empowering young women with contemporary skillsets and entrepreneurial insights.
The keynote resource person was Ms. Gopika Chaganti, Founder of Anupashya Institute of Human Excellence (AIHE) and Product Head, Quantum AI Global. She addressed the students with remarkable clarity, blending technology and real-world application. Her innovative methodology and advanced technological insights made a deep impact on the budding entrepreneurs, inspiring them to think boldly and creatively.
Parallel sessions were conducted on the college campus with powerful, knowledge-enriching talks by Prof. K. Aruna Lakshmi, Former Principal, GITAM, and Co-Principal Investigator, Uddanam AMC. Her sessions offered practical perspectives on leadership, innovation, and socio-economic development.The programme was inaugurated by Prof. K. Aruna Lakshmi, along with Dr. Sr. Shyji, Principal, St. Joseph’s College for Women, and Dr. P. Manga Veni, President, SJCW Alumni Association.The Alumni Association expressed that such initiatives aim to strengthen students’ entrepreneurial mindset, innovation capability, and confidence to explore emerging avenues in the global landscape.
