The programme was graced by the esteemed presence of College Principal, Rev. Sr. Shyji, and Vice-Principal, Sr. Hema, who highlighted the importance of protecting and promoting human rights in today’s society.
The event was coordinated by Head of the Department of Political Science, Mr. G. Ramesh, who emphasized the constitutional commitment of India towards safeguarding human dignity, equality, and justice for all citizens.Distinguished lecturer Sri J. Rama Rao also addressed the gathering and elaborated on the relevance of Human Rights Day in strengthening democratic values and social responsibility among the youth.As part of the celebrations, students of the college organized various events, including:
Speeches and presentations on the history, significance, and global perspective of human rights.
Activities showcasing the role of youth in promoting human rights awareness.
Creative programmes highlighting issues such as gender equality, child rights, environmental rights, and social justice.
