Sagi Subba Raju Foundation extends generous support to St. Joseph’s College Students

 Visakhapatnam :Visakhapatnam Darpan news service : The Sagi Subba Raju Foundation continued its mission of empowering deserving youth by extending scholarships to 13 first-degree students of St. Joseph’s College. The beneficiaries, pursuing diverse disciplines such as Psychology, Political Science, Statistics, Biotechnology, and Computer Science, come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds and have demonstrated commendable academic potential.

Smt. Uma Raju and Sri Sagi Subba Raju personally handed over the scholarships to the students. Addressing the gathering, they emphasized the importance of striving for academic excellence while upholding strong moral values. Their inspiring words were warmly received, and the students expressed heartfelt gratitude for the generous support, which will significantly ease their educational journey.

In addition to these scholarships, the Foundation has extended financial assistance to over 56students of St. Joseph’s Degree College, along with support to three students of St. Joseph’s College of Nursing and six students of St. Joseph’s Community College. This initiative further strengthens the Foundation’s long-standing association with the institution.

The event was graced by Principal Dr. Sr. Shyji, Office Superintendent Sr. Mary, PRO Dr. P. K. Jayalakshmi, IQAC Coordinator Dr. Bhaskara Sudha, and Dr. Sujatha, who appreciated the Foundation’s sustained commitment to student welfare and inclusive education.

The joy and gratitude expressed by the students made the occasion truly meaningful, reaffirming the Foundation’s belief in education as a powerful instrument for social transformation
