St. Joseph’s Students Shine at National-Level BEMUS–26

Visakhapatnam:Visakhapatnam Darpan: Students of the Department of Commerce and Management, St. Joseph’s College for Women (Autonomous), Visakhapatnam, brought laurels to the institution by securing multiple prizes at BEMUS–26, a National-Level Inter-Collegiate Business Meet organized by the Department of Commerce, Andhra Loyola College, Vijayawada, held on 2nd and 3rd February 2026.

A team of 16 students from BBA and B.Com programmes actively participated in various competitions designed to enhance creativity, leadership, communication, and managerial skills among Commerce and Management students from across the country.

The students achieved remarkable success in the following events:

In addition to individual event prizes, the team secured the Overall Championship Runner-Up Trophy, marking their exceptional collective performance at the national level.

BEMUS–26 aimed at nurturing and inspiring the innovative and imaginative spirit of Commerce and Management students by providing a competitive platform and exposure to contemporary business challenges.

The management and faculty of the college congratulated the achievers for their commendable performance. Principal Dr. Sr. Shyji, Vice Principal Dr. Sr. Hema, Dr. P. K. Jayalakshmi (PRO), Dr. N. Jyothi, Head of the Department of Commerce and Management, R. Pavani, K. Pratyusha, Dr. K. Rajani, and Dr. Divya Joseph, faculty members of the department, appreciated the students for their dedication and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence.

Sangamam’ – Beacons School Annual Day Celebrated Grandly

Visakhapatnam- Visakhapatnam Darpan -The Annual Day of Beacons School, Kurmannapalem, titled “Sangamam,” was celebrated in a grand and colourful manner, said the School Principal, Ms. Theresa Rani Dhanaraj. अखिल भारतीय पूर्व सैनिक परिषद द्वारा वार्षिक आम सभा (AGM) बैठक का आयोजन सफलतापूर्वक किया गया।

विशाखापट्टनम। अखिल भारतीय पूर्व सैनिक परिषद द्वारा वार्षिक आम सभा (AGM) बैठक का आयोजन सफलतापूर्वक किया गया। बैठक में राष्ट्रीय स्तर के महत्वपूर्ण विषयों पर विस्तार से चर्चा की गई तथा संगठन की आगामी गतिविधियों की जानकारी दी गई। बैठक के दौरान राष्ट्रीय एजीएम की डिब्रीफिंग प्रस्तुत की गई। साथ ही आगामी 07 एवं 08 मार्च 2026 को प्रस्तावित राष्ट्रीय स्तर की एग्जीक्यूटिव कोर कमेटी की बैठक के लिए स्वयंसेवकों (Volunteers) के नाम आमंत्रित किए गए। इस अवसर पर सदस्यों को आईडी कार्ड के महत्व एवं प्रक्रिया के बारे में जागरूक किया गया तथा सदस्यता अभियान (Membership Drive) भी चलाया गया। बैठक में संगठन के भविष्य के आगामी कार्यक्रमों की रूपरेखा साझा की गई। इसके साथ ही संगठनात्मक मजबूती के लिए श्री अजय सिंह जी को सर्वसम्मति से संगठन सचिव (Organization Secretary) के पद पर चयनित किया गया, जिसका सभी सदस्यों ने स्वागत किया। विशेष रूप से बैठक में नेताजी सुभाष चंद्र बोस जी का जन्मदिवस इस वर्ष व्यस्त कार्यक्रमों के कारण 23 जनवरी के स्थान पर आज श्रद्धा एवं सम्मान के साथ मनाया गया। इसके अतिरिक्त विलंबित वेटरन डे (प...
