ASR Homoeopathic Medical College Celebrates International Women’s Day 2026 with Multi-Village Health Camps and “Warrior Within” Initiative
Morning Session: Clinical Outreach in Four Villages
The day began with simultaneous Women's Health Awareness and Free Homoeopathic Medical Camps across four key villages: Ballipadu, Paiduparru, Attili, and Relangi. Staff and students of ASRHMC provided clinical screenings and health education to hundreds of rural women. A vital feature of these camps was the provision of diagnostic tests—including Hb%, RBS, Thyroid Profile, and Lipid Profile—at a nominal cost, empowering women with health self-sufficiency and early disease prevention.
Afternoon Session: Empowerment and Institutional Advocacy
The afternoon session at the ASR Seminar Hall featured a high-energy elocution competition followed by a ceremonial inauguration. A significant highlight was the Investiture Ceremony, where distinguished guests officially presented White Scarves to the newly appointed IWD Campus Ambassadors. These student leaders will now serve as the institutional points of contact for gender justice and campus safety.
