TADEPALLIGUDEM, MARCH 11, 2026 – ASR Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, in a prestigious collaboration with the World Teacher Trust and ALISHA Academy, successfully hosted "ARÊTE HOMEOPATHICA," a state-level seminar on clinical excellence. The event drew nearly 300 participants, including senior practitioners, esteemed faculty, and students from across the state, marking a significant milestone in homoeopathic medical education.

A Solemn Inauguration and Tribute to Pioneers

The seminar commenced with a solemn inaugural session featuring a prayer song and the traditional lighting of the lamp. Dignitaries paid rich floral tributes and garlanded the portraits of Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, Sri Akula Sree Ramulu, and Master Ekkirala Krishnamacharya.

In his inaugural address, Prof. Dr. Ananda Kumar Pingali, Principal of ASRHMC, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the World Teacher Trust and Dr. Umar Alisha, Founder of ALISHA Academy, for their unwavering support. He extended special thanks to the Chairman of ASR Group of Institutions, Dr. Akula Vijay Vardhan, noting that his constant encouragement and vision for promoting homoeopathic medical education have been instrumental in the college’s success. The Legacy of Master EK: Dr. G.A.V. Rameshwar, Medical Director of WTT, spoke on the immense sacrifice of Master EK for the development of homoeopathy in the Telugu states. He also noted that Andhra University was a pioneer, establishing a homoeopathic dispensary 24 years ago that continues to benefit thousands.

Sustainability and Green Science: Prof. E. Udaya Bhaskar Reddy, retired professor of Environmental Sciences from Andhra University, delivered a compelling presentation on the ecological benefits of homoeopathy. He highlighted its exceptionally low carbon footprint compared to conventional pharmaceutical industries, describing it as a "green" and sustainable healthcare choice due to minimal chemical waste and reduced energy consumption.

Clinical Mastery: Dr. P.V. Raghava Rao emphasized the Organon of Medicine as the "Bible of Homoeopathy," demonstrating how following classical principles can provide instant results in both acute and chronic cases.

Dr. G.R.S.S. Sarma provided a clinician’s roadmap for mastering Materia Medica in practice.

Dr. Srikanth demonstrated the efficacy of the science through live treated cases.

Prof. Dr. Ananda Rao Sanapala presented a psycho-somatic analysis titled "The Architecture of Insecurity" within the Calcarea group.

The seminar reached its zenith with a masterclass by Prof. Dr. Ananda Kumar Pingali titled "The Scientific Investigator: Case Taking, Patient Understanding & Boenninghausen’s Totality." Dr. Pingali emphasized that the key to clinical success lies in the physician's role as a scientific investigator who seeks to "understand the patient and not just the symptoms." He asserted that because homoeopathy treats the whole person rather than the disease, mastering in-depth case-taking is vital for achieving "gunshot prescriptions"—precise, individualized, and effective medical results.

A Historic Milestone: The Inaugural Iftar Party

In a landmark addition to the day’s events, ASRHMC hosted its first-ever grand Iftar party for all teaching and non-teaching staff and students. This historic occasion coincided with the holy month of Ramzan and the successful conclusion of the seminar.

Principal Dr. Ananda Kumar Pingali remarked, "This is a new beginning for ASRHMC. It is a beautiful coincidence that we have tasted the success of a state seminar and hosted our first Iftar on the same day. Our institution takes pride in its inclusive culture; from this year forward, the Iftar party will be a permanent part of our annual tradition alongside Christmas, Sankranti, and Ganesh Chaturthi."
