ASR Mission Day 3: Green Medicine Reaches Ballipadu and Paidiparu; Students Lead Village Awareness on Evolving Homoeopathic Science

 BALLIPADU/PAIDIPARU — On the third day of World Homoeopathy Awareness Week, ASR Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, in collaboration with the Umar Alisha Rural Development Trust, took their Project Health Tadepalligudem mission to the villages of Ballipadu and Paidiparu. The day was marked by high-tech diagnostic screenings and a grassroots campaign to promote Homoeopathy as an eco-friendly Green Medicine with no side effects.

The Evolving Science: Insights from Dr. Ananda Kumar PingaliSpeaking at the Ballipadu camp, Dr. Ananda Kumar Pingali, Principal of ASRHMC, underscored the expanding horizons of the system. He noted that Homoeopathy is a precise, evolving science that extends beyond human health, with extensive research now highlighting its benefits for plants and animals as well. 

Addressing the effectiveness of the system, Dr. Pingali stated that if a condition remains untreated, it is often a limitation of the practitioner rather than the science itself. He emphasized that Homoeopathy has a vast scope in treating various illnesses where other systems of medicine may have limited reach, and urged the public to approach qualified Homoeopaths to clarify their doubts.Student Empowerment and NCH Initiative

The campaign saw enthusiastic participation from student interns and first-year students who engaged in door-to-door motivation. One first-year student noted that this National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH) initiative serves as a vital opportunity to gain confidence and learn while interacting directly with the public. The students explained the critical role of Homoeopathy in both the prevention and treatment of illnesses, effectively bridging the gap between clinical research and rural healthcare.Clinical Services and Specialist TeamsThe camps provided free screenings for Non-Communicable Diseases, including Hypertension, Diabetes, and Thyroid disorders. Advanced diagnostic tests such as HbA1c, Lipid Profile, and Thyroid Profile were conducted for those in need.At Ballipadu: Services were rendered by a specialist team including Dr. Ananda Kumar Pingali, Prof. Dr. Kadali Srinivas, and Dr. Meenakshi Das.

At Paidiparu: Clinical consultations and screenings were led by Dr. G.V. Kirnamayi.

The Volunteers of Umar Alisha Rural Development Trust coordinated the logistics, ensuring these essential services reached the most vulnerable sections of the community.
