The event witnessed participation of a large number of devotees from across Visakhapatnam and neighbouring areas. The yagnam, conducted under the guidance of Swami Raghuveerananda, Spiritual Mentor of Chinmaya Mission Ukkunagaram, featured more than 27 homa kundas. Collective chanting of the Hanuman Chalisa created a devotional atmosphere, invoking prayers for peace, prosperity and universal well-being.

The programme commenced at 8 a.m. and concluded at 2 p.m., with dev
otees and volunteers coordinating the rituals. The orderly conduct of the homam reflected a strong sense of discipline and community participation.Speaking on the occasion, Ajay, Managing Director of Vijay Nirman, said such collective spiritual initiatives help foster unity and reinforce cultural values in society.
Swami Raghuveerananda emphasised the role of collective prayer in promoting harmony and positivity, and expressed gratitude to devotees, volunteers and well-wishers for making the event a success.
As part of its ongoing initiatives, the Mission announced plans to establish a Community and Rural Seva Centre in the region to benefit people in Visakhapatnam and Anakapalle districts through various service and development programmes.
Swamiji also informed that Narendra Modi has accepted an invitation to be the Chief Guest at the global Chinmaya Mission Sammelan to be held at Bharat Mandapam in October 2026.
The successful conduct of the event marks another milestone in the Mission’s continuing journey of service, spirituality and nation-building.
