Massive bike rally in Gajuwaka under the leadership of TDP State President Palla on Amaravati’s legal status*
Addressing the gathering, Srinivasa Rao described the conferment of legal status on Amaravati as a moment of historic vindication for the self-respect of five crore people of Andhra Pradesh. He attributed the development to the unwavering resolve and far-sighted leadership of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, asserting that it was this steadfast commitment that ensured Amaravati’s position as the State’s permanent capital. He noted that even under challenging circumstances, . Naidu remained aligned with the aspirations of the people without yielding ground.
He further observed that the decision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the support extended by the Union Government played a decisive role in securing legal backing for Amaravati. He also acknowledged the contribution of Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, stating that the convergence of alliance forces was instrumental in achieving this milestone.Launching a sharp critique of the previous YSRCP regime, Mr. Srinivasa Rao alleged that former Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy had plunged the State into uncertainty through the proposal of three capitals and had yet to exhibit a course correction. He accused him of attempting to mislead the public once again with renewed political theatrics, remarking that such narratives would no longer find acceptance among an increasingly discerning electorate.
He emphasised that Amaravati was not merely an administrative capital but a symbol of Telugu identity and collective dignity. The achievement, he said, was the culmination of sustained public mobilisation and the sacrifices of farmers who had placed their trust in the vision of a unified capital. Expressing confidence in the future, he stated that Amaravati was poised to emerge as a leading capital city in the country, with aspirations of global standards.Mr. Srinivasa Rao added that the scale and enthusiasm of the bike rally reflected the people of Gajuwaka’s enduring faith in Amaravati and their continued confidence in the leadership of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.
