Visakhapatnam: Visakhapatnam Darpan news :The Valedictory Function of VAW 2025 was held at VPA on Thursday Dr M. Angamuthu, IAS, Chairperson, VPA, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
Shri Arun Prasad. T. IES, Chief Vigilance Officer, VPA, welcomed the dignitaries and briefed about the activities organized during the Vigilance Awareness Week.
Addressing the gathering. Dr. Angamuthu emphasized the importance of teamwork and reiterated to work consciously and with integrity in driving both VPA and DCIL towards greater heights. He stated that "the actions taken today will shape the future of the organization and its individuals tomorrow."
The Chairperson distributed prizes to the winners of various competitions such as Quiz, Essay Writing, Drawing, and Elocution, organized for school and college students as well as employees of VPA and DCIL in connection with Vigilance Awareness Week 2025, observed from 27th October to 2nd November 2025
As part of the three-month Vigilance Awareness Campaign being jointly conducted by VPA and DCIL from 18th August to 17th November 2025, a series of outreach programmes were held across schools and colleges in Visakhapatnam to spread awareness about integrity, honesty, and the ill effects of corruption. Employees across departments also took the Integrity Pledge during the campaign.
The activities highlighted this year's CVC theme "Our Shared Responsibility". underscoring that vigilance is a collective duty of every citizen.Shri Durgesh Kumar Dubey, IRTS, Deputy Chairperson, VPA, Shri T. Venu Gopal, Secretary, VPA; Capt. S. Divakar, MD & CEO (Addl. Charge), Dredging Corporation of India Limited (DCIL); and all senior officers from VPA and DCIL were also attended the programme.
