Book Release of “The Joys of Giving and Living” at St. Joseph’s College

Visakhapatnam : Visakhapatnam Darpan: The book “The Joys of Giving and Living – Memories Recounted” written by former Head of the Department of Office Management, Late D.A. Ramani, was released on Thursday, February 26, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Women’s College, Gnanapuram.

The book was formally released by Most Rev. M. Prakash, Archbishop Emeritus of Visakhapatnam. The first copy of the book was presented to Ramani’s mother, creating an emotional atmosphere at the gathering.

Principal Dr. Sr. Shyji and Provincial Superior Sr. Margaret Mary spoke about the remarkable services rendered by Ramani to the institution. They highlighted her discipline, dedication, and motherly concern for students.

Ramani Dhanaraj served St. Joseph’s Women’s College for 36 years with commitment and distinction. She recently passed away due to cancer. On the occasion of her birthday, her siblings released the book in her memory.

Her teachers, relatives, colleagues, fellow staff members, friends, and students shared their experiences with her and fondly recalled her simplicity, service-mindedness, warmth, and dedication, said College PRO Dr. P. K. Jayalakshmi. The programme concluded gracefully with a vote of thanks proposed by Rani Dhanaraj, followed by lunch.
