The budget is mainly based on three principles of wealth creation, development and welfare.
Budget highlights include
• Huge expenditure & growth: Proposing this budget with an unprecedented expenditure of ₹3,32,000 crore and a growth rate target of 11.25% is a bold move.
Limiting the revenue deficit to 1.86 is a testament to the government's fiscal discipline.
• Double engine development: The state is getting large-scale investments due to the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the vision of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.
Dr. K. Suhasini Anand said that this budget is laying the foundation for building a 'Developed India' through a 'Developed Andhra Pradesh' with the full support of the Central Government.
• Industrial Development & Investments: This budget has prioritized investments of about $15 billion (₹1,35,000 crore) in partnership with giant companies like Google. Also, efforts are being made to take projects like Semiconductors Mission 2.0 and Rare Earth Corridor further forward.
• Rayalaseema Development: A comprehensive plan has been prepared with ₹30,000 crore to develop Rayalaseema as a global horticulture hub.
• AP Wealth Fund: He said that creating this special fund for long-term development and to serve as a seed corpus is an innovative idea.
Apart from allocating funds as usual for welfare schemes like NTR Bharosa, Annapurna Canteens and free electricity for farmers, special focus has been given to infrastructure, education and health.
State spokesperson Dr. K. Suhasini Anand told a press conference that this budget is not limited to just numbers but is a way to change the future of the state with progressive ideas.
District Vice President M. Suresh Babu presided over the program, while State Treasurer M. Nagendra, State MSME Corporation Director N. Vijayananda Reddy, General Secretary S. Danesh, Media Incharge T. Koteswara Rao and District Vice President A. Shankara Rao participated.
