Reduction in excise duty on petrol and diesel… Coalition government welcomes Centre’s decision* ▪️ *Modi’s firm resolve to ease burden on people… Welfare gains momentum with Chandrababu’s support* *-- TDP State President Palla Srinivasa Rao*
At a time when rising global fuel prices have prompted several countries to pass on the burden to consumers, India’s decision to prioritise relief for its people stands out as a reflection of the NDA government’s citizen-first approach, Mr. Srinivasa Rao noted. He remarked that leadership is truly tested during periods of uncertainty, and that the Centre’s calibrated responses have contributed to maintaining stability and reinforcing public confidence.
Commending the leadership of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, he said the latter’s administrative acumen and long-term vision have enabled the State to balance welfare imperatives with fiscal prudence. The prompt endorsement of the Centre’s decision, coupled with efforts to ensure that its benefits reach the people of Andhra Pradesh, reflects a governance model anchored in responsiveness and efficiency, he added.
Emphasising the importance of Centre–State coordination, Mr. Srinivasa Rao said the coalition government’s approach—aimed at reducing the financial burden on citizens while sustaining development and welfare initiatives—epitomises the essence of a truly people-oriented administration. He added that the NDA government’s consistent prioritisation of public interest continues to serve as a benchmark for governance in the country.
