Visakhapatnam, Aug - 1:*Telugu Desam Party (TDP) State President Mr. Palla Srinivasa Rao has expressed serious dissatisfaction over what he described as the indifferent attitude of certain party leaders from the Palakonda Assembly constituency.
Addressing a review meeting at the Visakhapatnam Parliamentary Office on Friday, Mr. Srinivasa Rao took strong exception to the manner in which Palakonda leaders have distanced themselves from key organisational programmes. In particular, he cited the lack of involvement in the party’s flagship membership drive, Suparipalana – Tholi Adugu (“Good Governance – The First Step”), terming their negligence as unacceptable and detrimental to the party’s collective goals.Reiterating that the Telugu Desam Party is not a vehicle for individual or factional interests, Mr. Srinivasa Rao cautioned that any attempt to indulge in group politics for personal gain would invite stringent disciplinary action from the leadership. “The TDP is a party of the people, built by the commitment and sacrifice of its cadre. Every leader is expected to uphold the party’s ethos, work in coordination, and contribute meaningfully to its growth,” he said.
Mr. Srinivasa Rao directed the Parliamentary Party President and constituency in-charges to remain accessible to the public and proactively work towards strengthening the party at the grassroots level in Palakonda.
The meeting was attended by Zonal Coordinator Mr. Damacharla Sathya, Parliamentary Party President Mr. Kidari Shravan Kumar, constituency in-charge Ms. Patala Bhudevi, and other senior leaders of the TDP.
